My 93 Audi 80 is backfiring slightly on the overrun but only when it's cold. When it's warmed up it seems ok, so does anyone have any ideas on the subject? Thanks in advance.

I recently bought a 1993 80E and then found out there is no Haynes manual for it. Question is can someone tell me the timing settings as I believe it's a tad retarded!
