I now have a 90Q, good to be back in a quattro!

Hi, it's been a while since I was on here last but i'm back again.

I am the proud owner of a 90 quattro in white. Admittedly it needs a little work but nothing some time, patience and a good supply of parts won't sort out Very Happy

That brings me on to my first job.
I suspect I have a vaccum leak somewhere, the idol is a little erratic and she cuts out sometimes, but once your on the move everything is just fine.

does anyone know of somewhere that supplies the rubber breathers around the intake system that have a habit of perishing? I've got some temporary fixes in place but they're not great.

Also is there anyone out there with information on how to test the Idol control valve?

I've got a manual ordered so it might give me some clues in that but any help would be useful.

I'm sure there will be a few more questions on the way as I find more issues, will also post some pics soon.

Great, thanks, Just manage to find a parts fische so I have all the part numbers, hopefully the local dealer will be able to help.
