2006 A4- locking and battery problems- need advice please!!!

I have a 2006 A4 quarto 2.0 turbo and have been having issues with my locks and battery. My keyless entry remote has stopped working, and the car will no longer lock at all. Also, regardless if the car is on or off, you can hear the locking mechanism clicking on and off by itself. This causes my battery to usually die overnight and once I recharge the battery it will usually last 3 days before dying again. The battery is one year old. I took the car into the shop and they said that nothing is coming up as being wrong/can't find a problem... anyone experience something similar or have any opinions/feedback as to what the problem is?

You really need to get the car scanned on VAGcom to see if any codes get thrown up. Could be a faulty central locking vacuum pump. No point replacing the battery if you allow this to continue. May not necessarily need a new battery. If it's possible, top up with dustilled water and put on trickle charge.
