Hi, just wondering if anyone can advise me, if fitting a 1.8t 20v aeb engine into an audi 2.0l 16v is a direct fit in engine bay, then just a case of sorting out the electrics

I would think it would be an easy swap, I believe they are basically the same!
I have got a 1.8 20v engine and wiring if you need it.

Keep us updated if you go or the switch!

I'd love to replace my ABK with the AEB in time. Perhaps find a good AEB to rebuild and tune before doing the actual switch over a weekend...

there is a problem with the throttle cable or something being too short on the 16v to accommodate the 1.8 or something along them lines.

I always preferred the route of dropping a g60 engine in

that's an easy fix, just use the cable from the donor car.
