I’m wanting to know what sort of things i should be looking at to gain more power.

I’m looking to know things like injectors, turbo etc.

Does the 130bhp have different injectors compared to the 100bhp? And also is the turbo charger different?

Is the engine internals the same ie pistons, rods etc.

Im gonna be starting things over the next few weeks starting with the clutch. Any clutch recommended?

Ive done a few small mods so far. K+N Panel filter, Decat and EGR delete.

Any info would be a great help.

Thanks

yes, injectors and turbo are bigger on the 130bhp engine...
internals are strong enough for 200bhp...

as for the clutch, I am very happy with my Sachs Race Engineering...
this will hold 450+Nm..
I guess your flywheel will be the limiting factor in torque...

remove the K&N as the small oildroplets damage your MAF...
the stock paper airfilter flows much more than 200bhp...

Thanks for the reply.

Is it a matter of me getting my hands on 130bhp injectors and turbo and getting a remap to suit? or is there diffs i may run into?

Ive been searching for a clutch but it seems they dont do Race clutchs for the AVB engine? unless im looking in the wrong places. Im thinking of the steel wheel conversion have heard some pros and cons regarding this.

Thanks for the advice ill get the K+N out and the stock back in.

http://en.sachsperformance.com/sachs-race-performance-clutch/audi/a4-8d2/18-75kw-0700-bis-1100/sre-performance-kupplung-set-2.html

this is de SRE clutch and pressure plate...

don't buy a 'sinter' clutch... very unpleasant to drive...

Thats exactly what im after. I will get one ordered up.

When im in that deep i might as well replace the thrust bearing? Would stock thrust be fine?

I see that clutch mentioned is for a b5 audi. Is the same clutch used across the b5 and b6 range?

yes it is the same for several types of cars and engines as they all share a type of gearbox and flywheel...

I have a AHU engine, with Passat 130bhp AWX flywheel + SRE clutch and a gearbox from a Passat AVB Razz

replacing the thrustbearings is smart when everything is disassembled anyway...

What im looking at is changing my injectors and turbo to the AWX setup is this a wise move? Or is there anything else out there i should look at?

the KKK BV43 off the Audi A4 170bhp with BRD of BVA engine is also a direct replacement for the gt1749va (170-180bhp) off the AWX..
this will give some extra horses to about 190-200 safely...

Im hoping to achieve roughly 170bhp.

Would the AWX Injectors and Turbo Help me acheive this BHP?

Managed to pick up a second hand cylinder head tonight and injectors of an AWX Audi A4.

Does the AVB and AWX engine share the same Inlet Manifold?

you don't have to change the inlet manifold...
AWX turbo + AWX injectors will get you to the 170bhp mark...

Now that i have a spare cylinder head im going to get that decoked and cleaned up. Im going to be putting the AWX cylinder head on thats why im asking about the inlet. Will my Inlet fit? I want to lift the head of and inlet as im sure there is 80,000 miles worth of oil, gunge etc in the inlet from the EGR not being block off.

Clutch has now been ordered. Thanks for your help with that.

Seen the post you have on regarding your car its looking well and alot of time and effort put in. Fair play.
