One of my headlights on my 1999 cab has been broken by someone reversing into me.
As it needs replacing i was looking into maybe upgrading the headlights for some after market lights. Seen some around but they say will only fit audi 80, these here:- Item number: 160525970243
and these Item number: 170432717044
This cab on ebay, item number: 190597776016 looks like it has some very similar ones fitted.
Anybody got some ideas as to which ones will fit and where i might be able to get them at a resonable price. |

1. I think they both look horrible
2. The description for the 170432717044 item includes the line "Will not fit cabriolet"... |

Ring the company and ask, as they also say not for UK market, ring us as we do make them for UK, this is exactly what it says:-
They are NOT suitable for UK cars- They will NOT pass a UK MOT
However we may do these lights for UK cars (Please call 01245 321750) |

Yes they fit. I have them in my S2. You need to do some modification inside the light to convert to RHD. They also say they are not suitable for HID conversion as they melt but this is a myth also as I have run HiD now for a year with no issues.
Only downside from me is they only really suit a silver car due to the silver strip down the edge of the lamps |

Thanks tonks, i thought they must do.
As my cab is silver thats why i thought they'd suit quite nicely.
Do you have the angel eyes ones or the DAyLine devil eye ones?
Also anymore info on the mod to convert to RHD?
Cheers |

well i thought i would give them a try as good elipsoids with all tabs intact reach 400-500 quid. i got a set of these for 140 and i sold my standard lights for 150 ;0
you have to drill 4 small holes in the rear for removing 4 small phillips screws. once removed you can get your fingers in to remove, rotate and replace the steel plate behind the projector to create the beam pattern on the opposite side. |

Hi Gents,
Long time I appreciate. After much work on my cab I've got round to replacing headlights. Have took plates out but they actually say RHD on them?!?!
Also how did you replace your indicator?
Standard bulb holder doesn't fit the new assembly.
Any help or pics greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance? |
