Hello folks,

I just want to introduce myself a little bit. One of my passions is cars (and than especially youngtimers).

Just bought myself a Audi 80 2.3 cabrio. We have altready an A2 (2001), and beside that i own an Opel Monza 2.5 E Automatic (1985) and a Kadett D (1981)

We live in in the surroundings of Rotterdam, in the west of the Netherlands.

Photo's will follow.

welcome to the site! The cabby looks like a similar colour to Cotsie's (he owned- look in the cabby sticky threads)- not very common colour!
A2- Audi's "ugly duckling"- but bigger than you think on the inside and very frugal with fuel!

Update of my car. New softop installed.

Open.

In the past one and half year, i have done a lot with the car. i have (and that is a small guess), invested about 2500 Euro to get the car right and how i wanted it. New brakes all around, seat are new upholstered (with the original textile from Audi), wheels are restored, new tyres, electricity cables are restored in original state, a lot of other interior things i was not content with, replaced, etc, etc. And of course now a new softtop.

Wheels restored

Time period audio installed. Original speakers are replaced by Magnat (which brand i have also at home).

Chairs restored

Looking good , have you put a later bumper on too or just put clear indicators on? Wink

It's an later bumper with the clear lindicator ights in it. Previous owner (i am the 3rd one) did that somewhere during his ownership of the car. Very Happy Also the DE headlight units are of a later time.
