Hi chaps, I bought this 80 Avant this week and so far I love it! I know its not to everyone`s taste, but if all cars looked the same, wouldn`t these forums be boring???!!!! There`s a couple of `niggles` with it, fuel gauge don`t work, passenger side window switch is caput, theres a few scratches that need sorting etc but overall i`m very happy with it. Future plans are to fit a turbo engine, change the seats to half-leathers, and drive and enjoy it!! cheers Dean Very Happy

Is the temp gauge iffy as well?

it was, so i changed the resistor and neither worked still. I`ve now got the fuel gauge working tho, i took the screws out the back of the gauge and cleaned up the brass washer things and it works. but temp gauge still isn`t working properly! I`ve fixed the window switch aswell and the exhaust! having a go at the headliner later today
