Hi first time poster, I have a 2007 2L petrol Quattro, had it since it was just over a year old and now needs all the oils done, I will have this car possibly many years yet, my wife uses it and only does 2.5k a year so it's mint and I like it in the snow.

Is there an idiots guide or complete post that shows all the details, as in oil amounts, how's much should come out also, drain plug and fill plug locations, any other points.

I have all the parts including tool for haldex filter, with a good guide I want to do this fairly soon.

Cheers

Hi, I have a 2005 TDI quattro, I remember being annoyed when I did the oils at the lack of basic information that's around. In saying that I am now struggling to find the links I had, so nothing to post meantime, however advice-wise, do a google search for exactly what you want, bearing in mind R32s, TTs etc are the same and I am sure there are how-tos and You Tube videos. I will keep looking for anything I have but hope this helps meantime Rolling Eyes

Here is some Oil info, just need to work out which brand suits. This is for my car, BKD engine code so may be different for yours but I wouldn't expect that much different;
Manual Transmission Oil Grade 70w/75 synthetic - 2.3 L

Rear Diff Oil Grade - 75w/90 synthetic - 0.95 L normal q, haldex 0.65 L
Audi Fluid for the above rear diff haldex = G 055 175 A2

Transfer Box oil grade - 75w/90 Synthetic - 0.9 L

Engine Oil with filter - 3.8 L

I used Fuchs Titan for my gearbox and diffs, as per grades above (2 variations from memory) and bought my Haldex oil and filter from TPS (VAG), so genuine stuff.

Hope the info helps Very Happy
