This doesn't sound good - looks like the upcoming regulation regarding the removal of DPFs is being extended to cover DCats as well - so any TDI owners that have de-catted may fall foul on their next test..

FFS I've only just taken mine off, and it goes loads better without them! Still passed the MOT last weekend so I've got a year to sort out a hollow CAT if needed Very Happy

I had mine removed a few years back so this looks like expensive news. Any idea of the price of aftermarket cats for the C4 and where is best to get one from?

Cheers

David

Hi,
On Fleabay there are aftermarket cats, which are "mini sized" and should work, I guess.
Thinking about buying one, but no longer use the Audi everyday.

Mine passed its MOT last week without the cat, however, the tester may simply have missed it - I wasn't going to raise the matter!

Cheers R

That's promising...

Please can other folks report back on MOTs when they happen?
