Hi
I have a leak on my pump, seems to be coming from the reservoir gasket. So I need to remove the unit to replace it. Any help would be great.

Cheers steve

Today was a good day!!
Got my roof working!! I'm so happy. Took the bumper off, removed the hydraulic pump and replaced the resovoir and seal, bolted it all back together and topped up the system. After 4 / 5 goes the hood worked out any air and then opened all by it's self. Only cost me 36 all in. Roll on the summer !!

The operation you describe above, is it for an Audi A4 1.8 cabriolet?

Pics above are for Audi 80 B4 based "Cabriolet". Have a feeling the design of pump resevior is slightly different on A4.

Once a German, a Frenchman and a Japanese went to work on a mine hill. Their boss is an American. He said to the German: "You look very strong, so you will be responsible for physical work". He told the Frenchman: "You are an engineer, so you will take the duty of planning for mining". Then he turned to the Japanese: "You look lean and weak, so you will be responsible for supplies."A week later, they started working. However, a few days later, the German and the Frenchman found that the Japanese disappeared. But they decided to continue working after searching for the Japanese. When the German started working, the Japanese jumped out all of a sudden and shouted: "Surprise"!
