Electric window regulator swap

Hello.
My drivers elecy window motor just wirrs round and round and the window will no longer open.

Suspect the regulator has gone.

Has anyone changed this part and how difficult is it to do?
Any special tools required for the job.

Mine has gone and my local garage wants £180 for a new one fitted.

Any advice you can give will be appreciated.

I did mine last year. pasted from my post :- Fitted the new one today, took about 2 hours(dodging the showers!!). The original is riveted on. Found you can use M5 bolts(25mm long) and lock nuts. The bottom 2 are very easy as you can access back of frame, but top two are located in a hollow channel. So drilled access holes big enough for a 8mm nut driver to fit. Note after tightening cut off excess bolt and file flush with nut on the top 2 or they will catch the glass. The bottom 2 don't need to be as don't interfere with the window. Also when removing frame from door the lower 2 bolts have wedges which need to be scribed.

Tools req'd Torx head 45(for frame mounting bolts)
Torx head 25(for motor & glass bolts)
8mm nut driver & spanner
