Any body know the cheapest place to buy two replacmeent head light units for a 2003 Audi A4 cabriolet B6 model?

Our lenses have gone very cloudy and I've tried many methos to polish the marks out but nothing has workded, so Its time to replace them.

But Audi Want over 200 each and ebay want silly prices to.
Thanks
Tony

you should be able to buy the lenses on their own? Have you tried the likes of GSF, or EBay?

Ebay is your best bet really, try and find a breaking cabby.

I don't think the lenses are seperately replaceable unfortunately.

Hi
I've also got an A4 2003 cabriolet with what sounds like the same issue with the headlights. I've had the car a few months now and am looking to replace the headlights.
I'm wondering how you got on with this.
Mine are halogen and it seems really expensive or difficult to get hold of some straight replacements.
If anyone else has some good advice let me know.

Thanks tony. That's what I think. While they're in perfect working order there's no real need to change. It's a beautiful car though and the lights are the only thing that's not quite right. One day.

After spending many hours searching for lamps the cheapest i found was on the "German Ebay site" decent quality. Although not zenons I did manage to swop all the guts from my old lamps bit of a fiddle but sorted eventually. The other thing many overlook with hazy lamps, The original lamp has a clear coating which after time breaks down and with regular polishing wears away. Recently I tried polishing the old lamps and found success by scraping off the original laquer with a stanley type blade, a couple of polishes with fine liquid abrasive something like Tcut, then the most important a spray coat of clear laquer. The results very impressive! the more you polish the less scratches but when you think you're not getting anywhere try the clear laquer you'll be amazed.
