I have a 96 2.6 audi cab and I got a clifford alarm fitted which gave me remote starting.

To achieve this, the car needs to think the key is in the lock, so they took immobiliser chip out of key and stuck it by the ignition barrel.

Mostly been ok over the years (15 now!) but now won't start with immobiliser light flashing on.

Have removed chip and put it back in key, seems to work ok.

But here is the question(s)

In case the chip and/or immobiliser receiver/detector ring are faulty I need to get a new key/chip and a ring to test this with.

Audi no longer do keys for this car.

Does anyone know where I can get new keys?
Does anyone know where I can get new immobiliser chips?
Does anyone know if I can take a chip out of another key and recode the chip for my car?
Does anyone know where I can get an immobiliser ring to test this with?

Thanks in advance!
