87 gt,runs ok until i stop or slow down,dies for a cuople of seconds and then clears.fuel pump is buzzin quite loud.

FIXED IT.see "simple test"post.

yea,had the pump off,the car had'nt been used for two years till i got it,new diz,rotor,leads,changed the coil and getting pump this week.pipe to rocker cover seems"soft"tho,collapsing ?

pipe to rocker cover goes soft due to oil and heat, 'tis natural, plus its an outward pressure exerted on that pipe, so it wouldnt be collapsing - could be a blocked vac hose maybe... or a dodgy fuel filter? ...maybe

new filter on it.any idea of effect of buggered fuel accumlator ? hoping for cheap fix gotta tax it sunday.idles smooth,only dies under load.
breather pipes,i'll try that ! thanks.

Check the pipe coming out the servo make sure the seal is good and also the one way valve in the same pipe. With the car stationary and running pump the brake quickly several times in sucession if the car cuts out it will be the servo side giving the problem Evil or Very Mad
