avant split-rear seats in leather?

has anybody got an idea whether these ever existed or even has some on offer?

Yes they were - 8A9 855 405B for small side base 8A9 855 805C for back ;8A9 855 406B for large side base and 8A9 855 805D for back.

These numbers are probably just for the covers but shows they were available for the Avant.

Keep an eye on ebay is good bet or contact the speciaist breakers like www.allaudi.co.uk
