Adding turbos tp 2.3l Audi 80 quattro

How much would it cost to put a turbo in my 1990 2.3 L Audi 80 quattro,
And how many pounds of boost can i run with it. I need to know this becase I am thinking about making my car CRAZY.

If youre determined to keep yor 80 and not just go out and buy a turbo version then your best bet would be to fit an engine from the vag range which is already turbo'd such as the 5-pot 10v or 20v. Or even the 4-pot 20v 18t engine. Far less stressed engine from the off-set allowing more scope at a later date
