Hello all,
About to take ownership of my first Audi! A 1.8T Sport. Has almost 100k on the clock but who cares?! I'm looking forward to this car - been rattling about in an old Pug 306 for years!

I'll be sifting through the forums just getting a feel for any issues to look out for and of course reading about all the good stuff.

Which model? A3/a4?
Check through service history, get cam belt, tensioners, and waterpump all done at same time ASAP for peace of mind. While they are doing it, get the garage to check play in the bearing at end of alternator
Mine distintergrated, auxiliary belt flew off and the bearing crashed into timing belt. Not pretty
Other than that, have a heavy right foot and enjoy the turbo noise!
