Oil dipstick holder

The orange plastic dipstick holder (oil) has become brittle and crumbled. I cannot find a spares supplier who has one. The car is an A4 Avant 2000 B5. Where will I get one in the SE England?

I believe there is a small section that clips on. Only about a pound from the dealer I understand. Otherwise the good old brekers yard I would say.

Trade Part Specialists (Google TPS). There is one in the Medway area of Kent. Should only be a few quid and will save the hassle of trying to locate one in a breakers yard. They also have a depot in south Essex. Medway number is 01277 811116.
A garage once broke mine while doing a service so they ordered a replacement, possibly from another supplier.

Good luck. Forgot to say, the Hanningfield depot in Essex is linked to the Medway main depot, so it's the same number. All parts are genuine VAG parts. Only snag is it's collection only for private customers but they will deliver to a garage, so if you live too far away you could request the repair the next time you book an MOT somewhere... Wink
