A6 Engine exchange?

Does anyone know if I can replace my 'fried' 3.0 TFSI 4G (c7) engine with a 4F 3.0 TFSI one? Cheers

Unlikely, even if it would physically fit, all the electrics will probably not match.

Knowing Audi, car electronics are continiously updated during a type's production run, so chances of anything being the same between this model and the previous one are even slimmer.
First thing to find out is the enigne codes, then gearboxes. If these have a different number then forget it I would say.
