Key Fob Not Working

Apologies if this has been discussed previously however my remote key fob has stopped working and ive now changed the battery. Problem is the remote still isnt working despite following the guidelines in the handbook. anyone have any ideas what I need to do to get the remote working again?

Probs a bit late for you mate, but in case someone stumbles across this in future: I had the same problem and it was solved by:

1. Use the actual key to open the door.
2. put the key in the ignition and turn the ignition on.
3. Hold the 'unlock' button for 10 seconds with the key in the ignition
4. This should re-code the key to the car (IIRC the key symbol comes up on the dash).

I may have mis-remembered a step but that worked for me.
