no offense inteneded- we took this approach to try to make it easier- particularly for pictures, etc. (we can't limit the size of the pictures available in the forums, ad people forget about 56k dial up users.......)

Just a thought, it would be nice to be able to view the classifieds without having to log on first.

we discussed that one at length; this is to stop web robots/ trawlers mining for information/ emails that is passed onto spammers. This way, we have a log of IP addresses that can used, if necessary, to see who has been where, etc. There have been instances in the past with regards scammers who have tried to rip people off- this eliminates the majority of these issues, and helps protects our genuine user base.
