Hi All,

Is there a recommended replacement electric aerial for a Cabby. All the ones I can find seem to be too long as the stock aerial drops 280mm from the wing whereas the replacements are all 310mm or longer.

Thanks chaps.

You can still buy the 3 section mast, look on e bay. As long as your motor is still working you should be able to carry out repair. Sniff

Replacement masts can be found here:

Replacing the mast is pretty straight forward, but it is a messy job because of the grease around the internal cogs. If these are worn then just bin it all though - replacement parts don't exist unfortunately.
Also make sure you put plenty of new grease your new mast or it will grind up quick and the first winter you hit will have you pulling it out and looking for another fix.

Only decent alternative is the Beru A350..I bought one but never fitted it, still sitting next to my PC! The beru works fine, thought the mast does sit quite high when fully extended.
Decided on a static mast instead, no problems and very easy to fit.
