hey i just got a 2003 audi A4 1.8T. i was looking to upgrade my blow-off valve for the turbo, but i dont know where its located at. i dont really want to improve my performance but i want to hear that nice noise it makes. can someone tell me where its located and does it have flanges or does it just plug in? if it has flanges what size is it? thanks

Are you mean that about the Dump Valve?

yes, where it releases all the built up air when you shift gears. where is it located on my car?

Hi Integ,
The DV of A4 1.8T is on the behind of the passenger side(LHD) fog lamp.


1.) Jacke up the car, and removed the front under protector.
2.) You can discover The stock DV on the behind of passenger side fog lamp, and there is between the tubes of IC and turbo.
3.) Replace it.

cool thanks. so if i replace that with a aftermarket valve would i get that nice swoosh sound when i shift gears? do you know any good web sites where they sale them for my car?

I'm using the Forge DV007P, it's nice for my chipped A4 1.8T. But it hasn't any swoosh sound.
