Hi,
I am new to Audi,s i just picked up a 1995 2.6 cabriolet last week. Didnt notice at test drive but when i brake hard the warning light flashes twice. does anyone know what this is?

Also while connecting the stereo i blew the fuse and now the abs light is constantly on.

Any help would be great
Cheers
Tim

Hi,
If the flashing symbol is (!) then it could be a few things;

Low Brake Fluid
Low Brake Pressure
Low Power Steering Fluid

Best bet is to check all your fluid levels and see what happens , bit of advice make sure you use the proper Audi power steering fluid or you can cause a lot of damage to the seals in your steering rack.

As for the ABS light best bet is you've taken the fuse out , again just check all your fuses.

HTH
Pete

Just to let everyone know what the diagnosis was. Audi seem to think its the accumilator which is connected to the abs some how which is why the brake light keeps coming on.
.
And the abs light was the fuse.
