I popped into the local showroom last week having already ordered my A6 from Stafford Audi to see if they had any similar cars for me to play with Very Happy

As it happens they had an A6 Avant, Le Mans in Phantom Black so I was in heaven!

Anyway point of the post is that for the entire 45 minutes I spent in there not one salesman approached me. Some might say its because I look like I cant afford an Audi but I think the real reason was that they were so bloody busy! Every salesman and woman were seeing customers and selling motors! I overheard one guy buying a Q5 say to the salesman, "let me just call the bank to see if I can borrow any more money".

Could be a good year for new Audi sales Very Happy Very Happy

I think you must be right! Perhaps we are all falling for the doom mongering but in actual fact some confidence is coming back to us Brits!

I was happy not to be pestered though and spent at least 10 minutes sat in the A6 and a Q7 Very Happy Very Happy

My sister in law took her 2005 A4 Avant 2.0T Quattro in this morning to investigate why the passenger seatbelt alarm sounds even with no passenger and why the rear park sensors have died and they didnt have a courtesy car ready Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

This has been booked in for 2 weeks with a courtesy car arranged so she is not best pleased and took it home again Mad

The car went in again on Friday and they gave my sister in law a 59 plate A6 saloon 2.0 TDi SE with light grey leather interior as a courtesy motor.

She let me have a go yesterday and I was extremely impressed!! The only thing that would worry me if it were mine was the state of the interior Shock being light grey it was minging! Its only covered 4,000 miles but looked more like 400,000!!

So glad I went for the Le Mans with black interior!! Very Happy

When i said minging I didnt mean the choice of colour, just the fact that being so light it has got incredibly dirty in a short space of time. I actually quite like the light grey but its just too clean looking and is asking for someone with muddy boots to ruin it Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Laughing
