Hi guys,
I've been visiting this forum alot of times to find info, but never actually register in. Now I did..
I am owner of 1997 Audi cabriolet. Its US version, so it has different bumpers than EU, but I sill like it. Its white cream pearl metallic with L0B9 color. Its with the 2.8 V6 and its Automatic. All cabriolets in the USA were only Automatic, no exceptions as far as I know. I have a spare 5 spead manual gearbox, waiting to be swapped with all other things I need from a donor Audi 90 b4 2.8
So mine has 130 000 miles and its almost perfect.
I wanted to make it as much new as possible so I bought brand new block and cyl heads, and I will install them later this year.

I am trying to buy a few things from Europe, that are not available here.
I already have the ellipsoid headlights
I missed to buy the Bolero wheels in ebay not long ago, also yesterday I missed a recaro seats....
I am interested in hardtop too. In Uk alot of times Ive seen it in ebay, but no one wants to ship it, but recently I found a company who picks up from home and ship it overseas.
If someone has these for sale or know someone who has, let me know ..
Smile)

This is ours Wink
Previously lovingly owned by ukwide-(Gary) on here

Considering this is a replacement for the coupe , which was/is a very enjoyable
car, this isn't a bad alternative ..Wink , still miss the GT though Very Happy
Cheers

Thanks !
Not sure of colour , think it might be a solid white though as opposed to a pearl white , it's a 5 cyl 2.3 NG engine , I only wanted a cab as long as it was the 5 pot , to replace the coupe GT 5 pot , it's a nice engine , with the familiar lovely sound Wink ,
It's been resting in a nice garage over winter , so will be coming out very soon Very Happy , it was a present for my better half last October , to celebrate a significant birthday lol & she loves it Wink

Yep, the 5 cyl engines are audi's best engines. I love more the v6 thou because its very suitable for the cruiser car that is. Its not that sporty as the 5 cyl. but its torque enough to pull the car.

The color code is on the label of codes under the trunk carpet and in the manual book. You can take picture if you are not sure what is the color code Smile
