I've noticed on cold dark mornings that my headlights are slow to come on. Sidelights are lit immediately, foglights shortly afterwards, but the headlights don't want to switch on for about 5 minutes.

Is this a known common problem? All the contacts look clean. The switch-on is instant from April to September, but as soon as October comes around they start to slow down.

I've tried to search to see if it's been discussed before, but can't find anything.
