2005 v6tdi, remap advice

hi, just picked up my 05 a4 avante 3.0 tdi quattro. The cars currently standard and a few mates have said I should get a remap, improve power and economy, anyone had this done and have any advice?

P.s. Anyone know how to fix the cover over the sub/amp in the boot nothing seems to be broken but it keeps falling open

Sorry, don't know much about V6 re-maps but it will increase everything your mates suggest, including your insurance policy when you declare this. Wink

4-cylinder PD engines can have a tuning box plugged in to create a reversible re-map on a budget, but I don't know if they do anything for a V6. Perhaps have a look at TDI Tuning in Chelmsford on eBay.
As for the amp cover, could it just be that the handle needs to be fully opened to re-set the lock so that it engages correctly with the bracket when you close it?
