Just realised I hadn't updated in a while!

I bought this:

And this (having a nightmare getting a key cut though since my car seems to have a different key to every other Audi Coupe):

And these:

Brand new genuine bearing kit for upcoming hub replacement. (now done - hub had ovalised where the balljoint goes in which caused knocking and BENT the pinch bolt!!)
Brand new genuine lambda sensor for the turbo engine.
Nissens heater matrix. Common issue on old german motors and it'd be rude not to replace mine while the dash is out for the engine conversion.
TV remote, not new.

A pair of Conti's (new to rear, obviously):

US spec rear number plate surround. Custom plate on the way, for 2 rows of text:

I bought front brakes to fit some months ago, but when starting to strip them I saw that they had a bit of meat left and I could leave it a couple of months. Well those couple of months passed and after both Kwik-Fit (when it was in for tyres) and Bavaria (in for hub) telling me I needed front brakes as a matter of urgency, I decided it might be time to revisit the situation:
I started with this:

I think I got my money's worth out of them :innocent:

Gone!

POW!

Suspension kit is on the way so I decided to get some parts in that need changed while everything's off:

Last update was getting the US spec rear plate surround fitted (bad pic as I'm tall so it looks like the plate is obscured(it's not)):

Hi there,

Sadly not. I weighed up the cost and benifit in comparison to buying the S2 and just couldn't justify it.

I'll get a thread for the new motor on the go soon as it's a project in itself Smile
