I bought Canbus compatible bulbs from ebay a few months ago as they're covered by the bulb out warning system and I've never had any problems. However, that seller has stopped selling them now so I'm not really sure where to suggest getting them from. I paid £9 for a pair.

The biggest problem is that the bulb holder corrodes and means you can't get the lens screws out. The only real option is a new holder and bulb covers too, which is approaching £50 Sad It's clearly a known issue as the dealer keeps all items in stock....

You can reuse the existing looms etc:

They're super bright now!

You have a cab don't you? I'm not sure how different they are.

Yeah I have a cab.

I'll see what condition the holders are in and go from there.

Hopefully the lenses will come out without much fuss (I doubt it) but here's hoping cause I really like the ultra white lights over the dull yellow.

Cheers for the input Very Happy

Lots of people I know have done this, and no one has been able to just screw them out! The lucky ones have been able to drill the lens out around the screw, wind the screw out with some mole grips or similar and just replace the bulbs and lens's. The unlucky ones like me had to do the complete bulb holder.

That said the Cab might be completely different!

If thats the case id probably buy a new holder. Drilling etc isn't really what Im good at and id probably cause more damage so id bite the bullet and get a new holder. I'll have a look at the holders condition tomorrow in the daylight and go from there Smile
