Can someone please help me figure out how to thread this onto the column? Have never seen any drawings of the component before. Thanks.

No picture attached so one more time. Something not working with the attachment function. Anyway I need to fit a new indicator stalk unit but have no info at all. Am wondering how to get it on to the steering column. Question
Thanks.

It just pushes on over the end of the column. Once it's at the stop, you tighten the clamp screw to lock it

So the bottom half of the cowling has to come off, and the small hex fastner comes completely out? IsĀ“nt that an awkward bit to get back on?

lower cowling stays attached at all times. there is enough flex in the wiring to fit the switch while everything remains attached to it
